Main duties of the job
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Band 5 registered nurses who is passionate about delivering high standards of care to ensure a positive patient experience. You need to have excellent communication skills and be prepared to work in a busy and sometimes challenging environment.
The ability to work as part of a team and commitment to give high-quality care whilst adhering to Trust values and behaviors is essential.

Job description Job responsibilities
To provide a high standard of safe individualized, holistic and evidence-based patient-focused care in consultation with the patient, relatives and the multidisciplinary team.
The postholder will have the responsibility for the assessment of patient care needs and the development and/or the implementation and evaluation of programme of patient care. Carry out pathways of care under supervision and, when proficient, demonstrate procedures of care; supervise junior and/or unqualified staff includingstudent nurses and health care support workers. As part of managerial and clinical development, under supervision, take charge of the team/ward whilst undertaking a variable shift pattern as directed by the ward manager to satisfy the needs of the service. Maintain clinical study and undertake further personal and professional development in line with Trust policies.
Person Specification
Experience Essential
Experience as a Staff Nurse Experience of working within a team
Desirable
Understanding of evidence- based practice and clinical governance e.g incident reporting.
Communication Essential
Ability to communicate effectively to a range of people and understand the importance of the highest standards of customer care The ability to communicate with patients on a range of matters Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally

Maintain professional image / attitude at all times Patient centered in all aspects, acts as an advocate for patient Flexible, Adaptable and Reliable Awareness of Equality Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) in Nursing Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of NMC code.

Can prove a basic computer literacy in Windows and IT systems
