Main duties of the job
As the Health, Safety & Fire Administrator, you will provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Health, Safety & Fire Team, ensuring the smooth day to day operation of departmental activities.You will support the organisation of meetings, training, communications, records and documentation maintaining accurate information and providing a high standard of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.You will also be responsible for ensuring all administrative processes are completed accurately and within agreed timescales, supporting the wider team to deliver effective health, safety and fire service across the Business.

Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
GCSE in English and Maths at Grade 4 minimum or equivalent Competent user of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Teams
Desirable
Qualification in Business Administration or equivalent Experience of using electronic document management or business systems
Experience Essential
Experience of working in an administrative or business support role Experience managing documents, records and databases Experience organising meetings, events or training activities Experience providing customer service to internal and external stakeholders Experience using Microsoft Office applications and administrative systems
Desirable
Experience supporting a health and safety, compliance or operational team Experience raising purchase orders and processing invoices Experience maintaining departmental records and trackers Experience of applying health and safety legislation to processes and procedures Experience of supporting auditing processes, inspections. Good working knowledge of health care and primary health care services
