• Visit 4-5 machine shops, CNC shops, and auto ancillary customers daily to generate business opportunities and strengthen customer relationships. • Provide application support for Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, and Threading operations. • Conduct tooling trials using CNMG, DNMG, WNMG, CCMT, and other cutting tools to demonstrate productivity and tool life improvements. • Recommend optimal cutting parameters (Speed, Feed, and DOC) for materials such as MS, SS, Cast Iron, EN8, and EN31. • Prepare techno-commercial quotations including tool grade, coating, pricing, and tool life comparisons. • Follow up on customer payments and ensure timely collection of receivables within the agreed credit period. • Identify customer machining challenges and recommend suitable tooling solutions to improve productivity and reduce costs. • Engage at multiple levels and build brand value and rapport amongst key stakeholders at customer organizations.
PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS
• BE in Mechanical Engineering, B Tech, Production Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Metallurgy, or equivalent. • 5 to 8 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering, or business development within the cutting tools, tooling, metalworking, or manufacturing industry. • Strong knowledge of machine processes such as Turning, Milling, Drilling, Reaming, and Threading. • Good understanding of Solid Carbide Tools, Indexable Cutting Tools, Carbide Rods, Inserts, and Special Purpose Tools. • Ability to identify customer machining challenges and recommend suitable tooling solutions to improve productivity and cost efficiency. • Familiarity with CNC machining operations, cutting parameters, tool selection, cycle-time optimization, and process improvements.
