Job Description To provide constant and efficient operations of the physician's medical office. Duties to include scheduling, patient registration to include demographic and insurance data; enters information in the hospital computer system; maintains quality control for each preadmission and admission to insure accuracy of information; acts as liaison between patients, financial counselors and hospital patient accounting; insures that all state, federal and MUSC policies and procedures are followed. Functions as the first line of contact receiving patients, answering incoming calls, and monitoring the waiting room.
