JOB SUMMARY: Supports fleet or shop operations by managing inventory, ordering parts and supplies, and ensuring technicians have the materials needed to complete vehicle maintenance and repairs efficiently. Helps maintain accurate records, controls stock levels, and contributes to minimizing downtime across the fleet.

Job Task Descriptions Frequency Percentage of Time
1. Issues parts to technicians and track usage. Performs accurate billing of parts to vehicles/work orders. Daily 20%
2. Assists with receiving, stocking, and organizing vehicle parts, tools, and supplies. Maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management systems. Daily 10%
3. Coordinate with Parts Manager to resolve discrepancies. Daily 10%
4. Supports operation by delivering parts between terminals and pickups from vendors. Provides flexible support across locations and various tasks including inventory, organization, and shop assistance. Daily 10%
5. Monitor stock levels and notifies supervisor of reorder needs. Daily 5%
6. Assists with the ordering of parts from vendors and verifying deliveries. Daily 5%
7. Conducts inspections of incoming parts for accuracy, condition, and compliance with purchase order specifications. Daily 5%
8. Label, store, and catalog parts in an organized and accessible manner. Daily 5%
9. Maintain cleanliness and safety in the parts storage area. Daily 5%
10. Process returns and core parts according to district procedures. Daily 5%
11. Help research parts using manuals, catalogs, and electronic systems. Daily 5%
12. Supports cycle counts. Monthly 10%
13. Perform other duties as assigned or requested. Daily 5%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. • Criminal background check and fingerprinting required • High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma • No professional work experience required • Strong organization and time management skills • Good communication and teamwork skills • Basic computer skills (inventory systems, spreadsheets, email). • Valid Colorado Driver’s License (Must meet insurability requirements).
