This posting is for those who attended an audition specifically for a Program extension and were identified by Talent Casting to transfer into a Character Performer role at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL. What You Will Do Participants will join a high-energy team who is passionate about energizing and entertaining our Guests while bringing our world-famous Disney characters and stories to life. Performers portray specific costumed characters in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, including theme park and resort greeting and dining locations. This involves wearing potentially large body costumes, heads and feet, some with limited vision and range of motion, and exposure to hot and humid weather. They will communicate non-verbally to Guests, and sign autographs and pose for photographs. Performers appear before thousands of guests every single day in our live entertainment offerings at our Parks and Resorts, making memories that will last a lifetime! Some performers may be selected to also perform in our shows and parades and/or as Character Look-Alikes; however, all Character Performers will perform as our sculpted characters.

Note: Late applicants will only be considered if there is a business need, and they are at increased risk of moving to a different apartment unit at Flamingo Crossings Village. They may also be subject to a $100 late fee.
Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
• Portray specific costumed characters in a variety of indoor and outdoor locations, including theme park and resort greeting and dining locations.
• Wear potentially large body costumes, heads and feet, some with limited vision and range of motion, and be exposed to hot and humid weather. • Stand and walk for extended periods of time. • Communicate non-verbally to Guests. • Sign autographs and pose for photographs. Some performers may be selected to also perform in our shows and parades and/or as Character Look-Alikes; however, all Character Performers will perform as our sculpted characters.
Basic Qualifications: Eligibility Requirements
• Must be a current participant on the domestic Disney College Program. • Must have a January - February 2027 departure date. • Must be fully available to stay for one full year from original arrival date. • May not participate in consecutive programs totaling more than one year, including any combination of Disney Program or Disney Internship • Must not have more than four (4) points and/or one (1) reprimand on your record card within the last six (6) months. Please see your leader with any questions about your record.
Compensation Details: College Program roles start at $19.00 per hour

• A $240 non-refundable Extension Fee will be collected upon accepting the extension. • Failure to complete DORMS registration when requested could result in having to move apartment units and/or pay a late fee. • (As of January 2027) A $50 parking decal renewal fee is required for participants that have a registered vehicle on-site. Please note parking permits are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and availability is not always guaranteed. • Moving apartment units may be required for some participants. If this is the case, participants will receive additional information regarding their new unit after accepting.
