Experienced Lead Tech/Mechanic
Position Overview
The Experienced Lead Tech/Mechanic at Piedmont Lube Centers dba Jiffy Lube plays an important role in diagnosing and repairing vehicles and performing preventive maintenance services. This individual applies advanced automotive knowledge to a range of vehicle repairs while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is professional, honest, dependable, team-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service while following company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
• Interact with customers, co-workers, and managers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the repair and maintenance process.
• Maintain a professional and honest approach when performing automotive services.
Vehicle Services
• Diagnose and repair all types of vehicles, ranging from basic to advanced technician work.
• Apply automotive repair knowledge to identify and address common vehicle problems.
• Inspect, replace, and/or repair defective parts while performing preventive maintenance.
• Stay current on changing automotive technology through continued learning of technical information and techniques.
Operations
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Perform automotive maintenance and repair services in accordance with workplace procedures and standards.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of auto service/engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity.
• ASE Certification in Brakes and/or A/C preferred, but not required.
• Strong automotive repair and diagnostic knowledge.
• Professional and honest work ethic.
• Friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
• Hard-working, team-oriented mindset.
• Technician tools required.
