PAY: $14-$21/hour ----- SCHEDULE: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
Imaginative Beginnings Early Learning Center is seeking a full-time Lead Childcare Teacher to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced childcare professional or early childhood educator who enjoys leading a classroom, creating engaging learning experiences, and building strong relationships with children and families.
We are hiring for Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms. Classroom placement is based on experience, interests, and current center needs.
Typical schedule: Most positions follow a consistent daytime schedule (for example, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.) within center hours of 5:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

What You Will Do
As a Lead Teacher, you will take primary responsibility for creating a safe, structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom while working collaboratively with other team members.
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lesson plans
• Create engaging learning experiences that support early literacy, math, social-emotional development, curiosity, and age-appropriate growth
• Maintain a safe, structured, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
• Observe, assess, and document children’s growth and development
• Communicate regularly with families regarding children’s needs, progress, and classroom experiences
• Maintain required classroom records, including attendance, lesson plans, and daily reports
• Follow state licensing requirements and center policies
• Support program quality standards and collaborate with team members
• Coordinate age-appropriate classroom activities, special events, and field trips when applicable
Qualifications
Required
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to complete required trainings, including CPR, First Aid, AED, and Child Abuse Prevention
Preferred - not required
• Previous experience in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• CDA (Child Development Associate) or other early childhood credential
• Experience with infants, toddlers, preschool, and/or Pre-K children
• Familiarity with early learning standards and Kindergarten readiness
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to actively supervise children throughout the day
