Apple's Sales organization generates the revenue needed to fuel our ongoing development of products and services - enriching the lives of hundreds of millions of people around the world. Our sales team is, in many ways, the face of Apple to our largest customers.
The Worldwide Ecosystem Strategy & Analytics team is a nimble group focused on rapidly growing product categories that attach to and add value to our hero devices. The team develops business strategies, incentive programs, and other resources to support our global Sales organization in enabling attach at scale - working closely with Finance, Operations, Legal, and other teams, as well as directly with Apple's reseller partners around the world.
Description
As the strategic and analytical lead for business development across Apple-branded Accessories, AppleCare+, AirPods, and Beats by Dr. Dre, you will play a central role in growing some of Apple's fastest-growing product categories. You'll identify new opportunities through rigorous analysis, build the financial and strategic case for pursuing them, and partner across the organization to bring them to life.
This role demands both analytical depth and interpersonal influence - you'll need to build financial models that hold up under scrutiny, craft presentations that move senior leaders to action, and design processes that help great ideas scale globally. Responsibilities:
Identify and evaluate new business development opportunities through market analysis, sales data, and strategic research
Build detailed financial models to size opportunities, forecast impact, and support investment decisions
Develop and deliver compelling, data-driven presentations to align internal stakeholders and influence senior leadership
Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal to design and launch new strategic initiatives
Collaborate directly with Apple's reseller and retail partners to drive adoption and scale of new programs globally
Establish reporting frameworks and performance dashboards to track initiative outcomes and inform ongoing strategy
Continuously monitor performance post-launch, identifying opportunities for optimization and course correction
Serve as a thought partner to leadership, surfacing emerging trends, risks, and opportunities across the business
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in management/strategy consulting or a related field
Experience in retail, telecommunications, or consumer electronics
Proficiency with analytical software (e.g., Tableau) and database management systems
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or analytics roles
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience developing robust financial models
Advanced proficiency in Keynote, with experience presenting strategic concepts to senior leadership in a large-scale corporate environment
Proven track record managing complex, data-driven projects with multiple stakeholders
Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
Resourcefulness and flexibility to thrive with limited direction in an ambiguous work environment
Natural curiosity to dig into the next level of business questions and insights
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
