How you'll make an impact
Lead and continuously improve Hitachi Energy's local Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectivesFacilitate monthly S&OP reviews and executive meetings, providing insights, reports, and recommendations to support decision-makingCollaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Product Management to drive alignment, resolve conflicts, and build consensusDevelop demand planning and forecasting methodologies for a broad portfolio of critical products, leveraging market intelligence and data analyticsMonitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, service levels, inventory performance, and production adherence to drive business improvementsLead and support strategic initiatives, representing the planning organization in cross-functional and continuous improvement programsDrive process optimization through digital solutions, analytics, and best practices to enhance planning excellencePresent executive-level analyses and recommendations while mentoring team members and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability Your background
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an advantage . APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is an advantage;Significant experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, or S&OP within an international manufacturing environmentAdvanced SAP knowledge; experience with intercompany purchasing and planning is highly desirableExcellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights into business decisionsProven ability to work independently, manage a high workload, solve complex problems, and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environmentStrong communication, presentation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior management and cross-functional teamsGIS products and business structure knowledge is beneficialHighly motivated, precise, and proactive professional with a continuous improvement mindset;Business fluent in English, German is beneficial Why you'll succeed
