We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Dallas, TX.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Completing repair activities on generators or componentsEngaging with customers in a courteous and professional mannerPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviceAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own tools Education, Licenses, Certifications: Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution Current relevant electrical certification Locally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. Experience: Minimal level of workshop related experience required.Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products.Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.Basic Diesel Engine experience.Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. Compensation and Benefits: Base Salary rate commensurate with experience. Experience: Basic level field service work experience, Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products, High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience, Customer service experience
