Job Summary:
Completes diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds on engine products in a service workshop under limited supervision.
We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Roanoke, VA).

Complete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:
Completes complex internal engine repairsPerforms engine overhauls unassistedDetailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and componentsProficient experience with engine diagnostic softwareThis position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.A current valid license is required for this roleMust be 18 years old with 2 years driving experienceThis role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violationsA CDL may be required to obtain upon hireFederal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
