As a Lab Tech 2, you will perform laboratory tests on soils, aggregates and HMA, prepare reports, and collect samples from jobsites and plants for a wide variety of transportation projects. Work within a team of construction managers, office managers, inspectors, and contractors to successfully complete the construction of projects Perform field sampling and testing, and perform laboratory testing per UDOT, AASHTO and ASTM and other agency procedures and processes Complete test reports and documentation per UDOT and other agency requirements for all testing performed Work alongside UDOT construction crew or other agency construction management personnel in an augmentation role Assist younger technicians to complete tasks
