This is a broad, hands-on role covering month-end reporting, statutory accounts, audit, regulatory reporting, treasury and other day-to-day finance activities across the Group. The role will involve taking responsibility for recurring finance processes, working with colleagues across the business and helping improve how those processes are run. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across different areas of finance, able to investigate issues independently and willing to take ownership of work through to completion. 1. Monthly Reporting & Analysis Take ownership of monthly close activities for assigned entities, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations and reviews of financial results. Prepare and support accurate, timely monthly and Group reporting, including management information, recurring finance reports and investigation of significant movements and variances. Contribute to the continued improvement of reporting processes, including the use of data visualisation and automation tools. 2. Regulatory & Compliance Reporting Prepare and support regulatory submissions across key jurisdictions (e.g., Jersey, UK, Switzerland, Singapore), ensuring compliance and timely delivery. Maintain supporting schedules and reconciliations to ensure regulatory submissions are accurate, complete and delivered within required deadlines. Work with Finance, Legal and Compliance to understand and implement changes to regulatory reporting requirements. 3. Financial Statements & Audit Management Prepare statutory financial statements and supporting schedules for entities across multiple jurisdictions. Support Group consolidation and the preparation of year-end reporting adjustments. Coordinate audit requests, prepare supporting documentation and liaise directly with external auditors. Ensure audit queries and outstanding matters are investigated and resolved on a timely basis. 4. Finance Operations Support the effective operation of accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, payroll accounting and cash-management processes. Prepare and review bank, cash and other key balance sheet reconciliations. Support the preparation, review and control of payments across multiple entities, currencies and banking platforms. Maintain accurate intercompany balances and support the resolution of reconciling items. Ensure finance processes operate in accordance with established controls, approval requirements and internal policies. 5. Budgeting & Forecasting Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including the preparation of supporting schedules and analysis of actual results against budget and forecast. Investigate significant variances and provide clear explanations to relevant stakeholders. 6. Systems, Process Improvement & Innovation Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate finance processes. Use finance systems and reporting tools effectively to improve accuracy, efficiency and control. Support the implementation and enhancement of finance systems, workflows and reporting solutions. Document and maintain key finance processes and controls. 7. Project Work & Ad Hoc Tasks Contribute to Finance and cross-functional projects, including new entity implementation, banking initiatives, system changes and process improvement. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and accounting support as required. Undertake additional responsibilities appropriate to the role as the Finance function continues to evolve.
