Whether you're a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) or an experienced Veterinary Assistant, this is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team that values learning, teamwork, and exceptional patient care. Compensation $15.00–$18.00 per hour , based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Schedule Expectations This is a full-time position that generally includes: Four full weekdays per week Every other Saturday (8:00 AM–12:00 PM) Weekday shifts may vary between: 7:30 AM–5:30 PM or 6:00 PM 10:30 AM–7:30 PM Flexibility with evening hours is highly preferred as we continue to expand our urgent care services After a comprehensive training period (approximately 90 days), team members will be trained in ICU and expected to cover a 12-hour ICU shift on a Saturday or Sunday approximately every 4–6 weeks This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, values continued learning, and is excited to develop emergency and critical care skills. Daily responsibilities include: Emergency Triage & Stabilization: Quickly assess and stabilize emergency cases ICU Monitoring: Track vitals, manage pain, fluid therapy, and oxygen support Surgical Support: Prep patients, assist in anesthesia, monitor recovery Diagnostics: Perform radiographs, run lab samples, and interpret results Medication Administration: Deliver IV, IM, SQ, and PO meds accurately Client Communication: Provide compassionate, clear updates and discharge instructions Workflow Coordination: Prioritize care, maintain accurate records in EMRs Team Collaboration: Work closely with ER DVMs and overnight teammates
