🎯 Head of Quality – North West Training Council (NWTC) 📍 North West Training Council (NWTC) 🕓 Full-Time Permanent 📅 32 days holiday + bank holidays 💷 Competitive Salary 💼 Reports to the Managing Director About the Role North West Training Council (NWTC) is looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Quality to lead and support high standards in teaching, learning and assessment across the organisation. As Head of Quality, you will take the lead in developing and delivering the organisation’s quality strategy, helping to ensure excellent standards across all curriculum areas. You will promote a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement and good practice, while making sure NWTC meets all relevant quality and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior leaders, curriculum teams and staff to improve teaching, assessment, learner engagement and achievement. You will also oversee quality assurance activities, staff development and preparations for inspections, accreditation visits and reporting requirements. This is a senior leadership role that requires strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, along with experience of quality assurance in further education, training or a similar educational setting. Lead and implement NWTC's Quality Strategy, promoting consistently high standards in teaching, learning and assessment across the organisation. Lead quality improvement initiatives, supporting curriculum teams to enhance teaching practice, assessment, learner engagement and outcomes. Design and oversee quality assurance processes including self-assessment, internal reviews, audits, compliance checks and standardisation. Monitor quality, learner outcomes, apprentice performance and progression data to identify strengths, risks and opportunities for improvement. Lead professional development, mentoring and coaching to support staff and leaders in raising standards and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Work with senior leaders, learners, awarding bodies, external agencies and regulatory partners to ensure compliance, support external inspections and drive organisational improvement.
