This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring smooth transitions into College and coordinating vital Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes. Working closely with the Director of Learner Support, Local Authorities, schools, parents/carers and external agencies, you will coordinate EHCP consultations, annual reviews and transition arrangements, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice. As an EHCP & Transitions Coordinator, you will lead and coordinate the College's Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes, ensuring compliance with SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice. You will act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and be responsible for managing a high volume of consultations, annual reviews and transition activities. This is a fast-paced role that requires excellent organisation, communication and administrative skills, along with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet statutory deadlines.
