Are you an emerging insurance professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for learning? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Underwriter to join our Brisbane Financial Lines team and support our growing Financial Lines portfolio. About the role: Reporting to the State Manager – Financial Lines , you’ll play a key role in servicing and retaining our existing Financial Lines portfolio, supporting senior Underwriters, and engaging with brokers to deliver exceptional service. This is a fantastic opportunity to build technical expertise, strengthen broker relationships, and contribute to a high-performing team. You’ll be responsible for managing renewals, assisting with new business opportunities, and ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and industry regulations. Manage and service the existing Financial Lines portfolio alongside senior underwriters Provide exceptional customer service to brokers and internal stakeholders Conduct regular portfolio reviews to monitor performance and profitability Stay informed of industry developments and market trends Ensure compliance with legislation, insurer guidelines , and company policies Attend industry functions and networking events as required
