Aurora’s Software Solutions team is building the global investment analytics platform for the energy transition. Widely adopted by leading energy asset owners, operators, developers, and investors, the platform changes the way that energy market analytics are performed and delivered. To best enable the user experience, both through client engagement and analysis delivery, Aurora is developing a global technical Client Solutions team that provides the critical end-to-end interface between the underlying model development and the end user. We are currently looking for a motivated Power Markets Associate to join the team in Austin, to support the growth of Chronos, Aurora’s battery valuation software, in ERCOT and CAISO. This role sits cross-functionally between Advisory, Product, Research, and Commercial teams, developing battery market expertise while supporting client-facing analysis and providing structured feedback to internal product teams. The successful candidate will combine nodal US power markets knowledge with keen analytical ability, and a knack for client-facing interactions. They will be a fast learner who excels in a highly collaborative role, and will be able to navigate the complexities of power market forecasting software, while also being able to articulate these complex results to clients. Empower leading developers, utilities, and funds across the power sector to deploy capital in the Energy Transition, by leveraging Aurora’s software suite for investment decisions. Collaborate with Aurora’s US Advisory teams to perform feature-bridging analyses for client projects, enabling access to pre-release features and novel insights. Lead engagement on client transaction support projects, using Aurora’s software suite to perform market analysis and/or site-specific asset valuations Deliver specialized client training, demonstrating workflows, and guiding users through the creation and interpretation of site-specific valuation outputs. Work closely with internal Research, Modeling, and Product teams as you drive client software queries to resolution and communicate client feedback to inform product strategy. Partner with internal Product teams to shape the evolution of Aurora’s software suite and development roadmaps. Utilize customer usage & health dashboards to coordinate with internal Account Managers, and engage with customers to drive usage, satisfaction, and retention. Lead, manage, and develop more junior members of the team.
