Your responsibilities We’re seeking a reliable General Laborer to support our Resins department in the St. Louis, MO chemical manufacturing plant. This General Laborer will be responsible for the weighing and processing of materials used at all stages of production. Execute proper work procedures to weigh, transport, store, sample, and load any raw material. Execute proper work procedures to transport, adjust, filter, sample, and package finished products or process by product. Perform routine duties according to SOPs (Standard Operating procedures). Must know and practice safety rules and regulations. Weigh out raw materials according to specific formulas. Keep accurate records and reports. Report any problems or situations to your supervisor. Communicate and cooperate with the entire work crew to achieve company goals and standards. Maintain good housekeeping in work area. Follow all company policies and procedures. Complete various production related logs to record data and or/defective product. Write tickets to route product to next phase of production. Weigh and measure products to be shipped. May use miscellaneous material handling equipment to move products. May unload raw material by hand or forklift. Effectively work and communicate with other department personnel. Promote a positive and respectful atmosphere. Your profile Skills and attitude : Excellent oral and written English communications skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively with all relevant internal and external stakeholders in an international business environment.
