General Information Our Supply Chain Management department in Brasov is looking for a new colleague to join the team! Your Key Responsibilities Prepare and verify the necessary customs documents for imports and exports. Ensure compliance with national and international customs regulations, monitor legislative changes, and implement them in the company's processes. Collaborate with customs agents and authorities to facilitate the quick and efficient release of goods. Use correct tariff codes and accurately assess goods; add mandatory tariff information for each product in the EU Customs Trader portal (BTI). Obtain and manage long-term supplier declarations to ensure compliance with rules of origin. Send origin declarations and other necessary documents to clients via the MIC program (Managing International Customs & Trade Compliance). Manage any discrepancies or issues that arise during the customs process and find effective solutions to resolve them. Identify and implement improvements in customs processes to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency. Create and maintain detailed reports on customs activities, presenting analyses and recommendations to management. Your Qualifications More than 3 years experience in customs, preferably within a logistics or international transport company; Completed higher education, preferably in international trade, logistics, or business administration; Familiarity with customs documentation management systems and relevant software; Detailed knowledge of national and international customs and trade regulations; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Romanian and English; Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
