About the Role As a member of the Information Technology team, you will play a critical role within the Restaurant Technologies group, responsible for the configuration, maintenance, governance, and deployment of menu content within the Aloha POS environment, as well as supporting and administering the RTI Back Office system. This position is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and timely execution of menu updates, pricing changes, promotional offers, and product configurations across all company-owned and franchise locations. The role will also assist in maintaining RTI Back Office functionality, supporting restaurant reporting and operational processes, troubleshooting system issues, and coordinating with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure system reliability and performance. The position works closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including Operations, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and external technology partners to support enterprise initiatives and ensure consistent execution of menu strategies across all customer-facing channels. Additional responsibilities include monitoring and validating menu and pricing deployments, troubleshooting configuration and integration issues, supporting restaurant operations, managing RTI Back Office user and system administration activities, and ensuring the successful implementation of technology changes across the restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, and a customer-first mindset, providing exceptional service and support to corporate teams, franchise operators, and external partners. This individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and operational excellence are critical to supporting over 770 restaurant locations. What You’ll Do (Core Impact Areas) POS Menu Administration & Configuration Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the POS database and implementing menu-related changes. Administer and maintain the Aloha POS menu database. Configure menu items, pricing, taxes, modifiers, combos, and promotions. Ensure menu content accuracy across all restaurant locations. Maintain menu standards and documentation. Menu Deployment & Change Management Responsible for governing the lifecycle of menu and pricing changes from request to production. Manage the end-to-end menu deployment process, including recipe management in RTI BOH. Gather requirements from stakeholders. Build, test, validate, and deploy changes. Coordinate launch readiness activities. Maintain deployment documentation and change records. Quality Assurance & Systems Validation Responsible for ensuring changes function correctly before and after deployment. Execute test plans and validation procedures. Perform menu and pricing quality assurance reviews. Validate promotional offers and system functionality. Monitor production deployments for expected performance. Investigate and resolve configuration errors. Restaurant Technology Support & Incident Management Responsible for supporting restaurants and resolving operational issues. Provide technical support for menu and pricing-related issues. Respond to incidents, service requests, and escalations. Troubleshoot POS and menu configuration problems. Coordinate issue resolution with vendors and internal teams. Support restaurant operations during deployments and promotions. Back Office Administration & Reporting Responsible for supporting RTI Back Office and related operational systems. Administer and support the RTI Back Office platform. Manage user access, configurations, and system settings. Support restaurant reporting and operational analytics. Troubleshoot back-office system issues. Coordinate enhancements and vendor support activities. Governance, Compliance & Stakeholder Collaboration Responsible for ensuring standards, controls, and alignment with business objectives. Partner with Operations, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Technology teams. Translate business requirements into system configurations. Ensure compliance with company policies and data governance standards. Maintain audit trails and documentation. Follow industry best practices for POS administration and change management. What You Bring (Must-haves) Must-Haves (required): Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Experience in information technology, Business Systems, Computer Science, or a related field required; equivalent professional experience will be considered. Minimum of 1 year of direct experience with POS menu programming and configuration. Minimum of 1 year of direct experience with BOH configuration. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to think independently, take the initiative, think resourcefully, take corrective action, and resolve inquiries. Strong interpersonal and verbal, and written communication skills. Proven ability to manage complex technical requirements and deliver accurate, timely deployments. Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Finance. Nice-To-Haves (preferred): Experience with Aloha QS, Configuration Center, and Command Center. RTI Back of house experience. Working knowledge of restaurants/IT. Individual must live in the Tampa area and is required to be in the Restaurant Support Center or Innovation Center 3 days per week, at a minimum. Ability to sit for extended periods (4–6 hours/day) at a desk or computer. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a corporate facility during in-office days, employee meetings, or multi-department coordination activities. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, by phone, and via virtual platforms throughout the workday. Occasional lifting or carrying of materials up to 20 lbs. Visual acuity to review documents, schedules, reports, and digital materials with or without corrective lenses.
