Job Summary A post-doctoral research position in quantum machine learning is available in the Computer Science department at Purdue University. The research focuses on developing algorithms for the analysis of time series data using quantum machine learning models, and evaluating their performance relative to classical machine learning and statistical methods. The research would combine algorithm development with implementation and evaluation on current quantum computers, and would be performed in a collaboration with colleagues in Chemical Engineering at Purdue and an industrial collaborator. The position is initially available for a period of one year, with possible extensions subject to good performance and renewal of funding. Purdue University has a thriving research program in quantum computing, organized through the Purdue Quantum Science and Engineering Institute (PQSEI).
