Responsible for the productive and efficient operation of the extrusion press. Responsible for Quality and Quantity of material being produced on the extrusion press. Responsible for monitoring and controlling the Log Furnace. Responsible for monitoring and operating the Log Shear. Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Press. Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Puller System. Responsible for the control of the Extrusion Cooling Process. Responsible for monitoring and operating the Extrusion Handling System. Responsible for the computer set-up and monitoring of the extrusion press system. Responsible for quality checks of the extruded material. Responsible for housekeeping around the press operation area. What will make you successful? Required Education/Experience: The ability to work any shift is required. Must demonstrate the ability to safely lift up to 65 lbs. on a repetitive basis. Preferred Skills/Qualifications: Minimum of 1 Years of Manufacturing Experience desirable. High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Basic computer skills and familiarity with AS400 system a plus Ability to communicate effectively with fluency in English; Good verbal communications skills a plus. Ability to work as a team. Self-starter. Adaptable to change. Ability to prioritize needs.
