Type of contract: B2B contract Salary range: 125 - 160 PLN/H What will you do? You will work on large-scale financial services platforms supporting investment banking operations. The role focuses on digital transformation, process automation, data integration, and application modernization in a highly regulated environment while leveraging modern cloud technologies, microservices, and AI engineering tools. Your tasks Design and develop backend services using Java and Spring Boot Build and maintain microservices-based solutions Develop and optimize integrations with PostgreSQL and Kafka Design and manage cloud-native solutions on Azure Implement and maintain Kubernetes and Terraform infrastructure Create and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitLab Develop automated tests and ensure software quality Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders Support application modernization and process automation initiatives Requirements Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+ Experience with microservices-based architectures Good knowledge of PostgreSQL Experience with Kafka Strong knowledge of Azure services Experience with Terraform Experience with Kubernetes Experience with Databricks Practical experience with AI engineering tools including GHCP CLI Understanding of Generative AI concepts and frontier models Strong communication skills Domain knowledge of Stock Borrow Loan business Experience with JUnit 5, Mockito, Testcontainers or similar testing frameworks Understanding of structured context in codebases such as AGENTS.md and skills Experience with Helm Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 3 days a week Nice to have Splunk Grafana Application Insights
