Summary The Kommagani laboratory in the Department of Pathology at Baylor College of Medicine seeking for a Postdoctoral associate position. Postdoctoral Associate will involve a multi-disciplinary research team to focus on gynecological pathology research. The specific goals to utilize mice and clinical samples for advanced methods to understand the cellular and molecular factors that are altered in reproductive diseases. Baylor College of Medicine typically follows similar to the NIH stipulated stipend guidelines for Postdoctoral Associates. Job Duties Plans, directs, and conducts research experiments related to gynecological pathologies. Collects, analyzes, and documents experiment results. Performs different cell and molecular biology studies using mice and primary cells. Documents results of experiments and reports to principal investigator. Conducts literature searches and summarizes information for ongoing projects. Involves in collaborative projects with other groups in department. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications MD or Ph.D. in Basic Science, Health Science, or a related field. No experience required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in reproductive biology research.
