Job Description Position General Summary Lead the development and manage centralized safety data, performance dashboards, and coordinate mid-level regulatory and administrative compliance across the Group to support the Governance & Assurance pillar. Essential Position Functions 1. Occupational Health & Hygiene Management Develop and implement the Group Occupational Health & Hygiene programme across MAHB and its subsidiaries. Conduct health risk assessments to identify and control biological, chemical, physical and ergonomic hazards. Monitor workplace health programmes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. 2. Exposure Control & Workplace Health Develop and implement controls to reduce employee exposure to workplace hazards such as noise, dust, chemicals, vibration and heat stress. Review new projects, equipment and workplace changes to ensure health risks are considered during planning and implementation. Recommend practical solutions to improve workplace health and hygiene. 3. Employee Wellbeing & Fitness for Duty Manage the Fitness for Duty programme to ensure employees are physically and mentally fit to perform their work safely. Oversee medical surveillance, CHRA requirements and other occupational health programmes. Support initiatives that promote employee wellbeing, mental health and psychological safety. 4. Emergency Health Response & Compliance Coordinate occupational health support during workplace incidents and medical emergencies. Work closely with relevant departments, healthcare providers and regulatory authorities on occupational health matters. Monitor compliance with occupational health legislation and recommend improvements where necessary. Skills Good knowledge of Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA), medical surveillance and occupational health programmes. Familiar with DOSH regulations and occupational health requirements. Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Education Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or a related discipline. Registration as a Hygiene Technician or DOSH Competent Person is an added advantage. Relevant Industries External Minimum 5 years of experience in occupational health, industrial hygiene, exposure control or workplace health management. Experience in aviation, construction or other high-risk industries is preferred. Additional Information Open for Malaysian citizens only.
