Role Overview In this role, you will be the key link between IT and the business, working closely with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions support their day-to-day operations, business priorities, and long-term goals. You will help ensure that IT services are delivered in line with CMA CGM’s technology strategy, standards, and policies. You will build strong working relationships with teams across Finance, Procurement, and other shipping-related functions. By understanding their challenges and needs, you will manage the centralised IT demand pipeline, help prioritise initiatives, and drive solutions that deliver meaningful business value. You will work with business users to translate complex operational issues into clear technical requirements, define and scope IT initiatives, and develop business cases and ROI assessments. You will also partner with Solution Delivery teams to make sure projects are delivered effectively and meet the agreed business requirements. You will lead and coordinate teams through direct or matrix reporting, bringing together colleagues across global, regional, and cross-functional projects to deliver successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities Serve as the key liaison between IT and business stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, and shipping functions, building a strong understanding of business priorities and challenges. Partner with stakeholders to identify, prioritise, and shape IT initiatives that align with business strategy, deliver value, and optimise available resources. Translate business needs into clear, prioritised requirements and manage the IT demand pipeline from initial scoping through project delivery. Facilitate discussions between business and IT teams to resolve process, data, and system gaps, while managing risks, dependencies, and cross-functional issues. Work with Solution Delivery teams to define solutions, scope effort and timelines, and ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed business requirements. Lead business UAT, coordinate feedback, and prioritise issues and fixes to support successful implementation. Promote the adoption and re-use of existing global and regional solutions, while driving continuous improvement through feedback, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews. Lead portfolio reviews and provide clear, proactive updates to IT leadership, governance committees, and business stakeholders on progress, priorities, risks, and dependencies. Coach and mentor junior team members in business processes, stakeholder engagement, and business analysis. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Over 12 years’ experience as an IT Business Partner or in a similar strategic IT-business role within a global organisation, including 3+ years supporting Finance technology. Proven experience managing complex project portfolios and multiple concurrent technology initiatives. Strong knowledge of cloud, automation, analytics, and AI/ML, with the ability to apply technology to business improvement. Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and influencing skills, with the ability to bridge Finance, business, and IT teams. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, build consensus, and influence technology priorities. Strong business acumen in business-case development, value realisation, benefits tracking, and risk management.
