Main duties of the job You will be involved in undertaking pressure measurements, visual fields / visual acuity testing, Pentacam imaging and other clinical techniques essential to the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of ophthalmic disorders. Keen to learn new skills and take on new challenges then this post is for you, full training will be given.

Job description Job responsibilities
To provide visual assessments including but not limited to visual fields, visual acuity, pentacam and intra-ocular pressure (IOP) measurement which provide information for clinical decisions / treatments of eye and neurological conditions. Participate in research and medical audit projects as and when required. To perform administrative and clerical task as necessary for the efficiency of the service. Person Specification
KNOWLEDGE Desirable
Background knowledge of common eye disorders and eye related neurological conditions
SKILLS Essential
Good verbal and written communication skills Basic IT skills
EXPERIENCE Desirable
Previous experience within a similar field.
QUALIFICATIONS Essential
2 A-Levels at grade C or above or NVQ Level 3 / equivalent experience.
