What you’ll be doing
As a Software Assets Management (SAM) Expert, member of a team distributed in France & Romania, you will have the responsibilities:
•
• Lead the design and production of enterprise software asset-related reports (dashboards, inventory reports, etc.) from top-tier multi vendors.
• Execute SAM processes, including software requests, license pooling, deployment, and retirement.
• Develop and maintain repositories and databases for contract and software asset data (e.g., internal tools, SharePoint, Asset Management tools).

• Maximize value creation and minimize costs for software licensing, maintenance, and services.
•
• Facilitate business needs for ongoing technical support and renewals on selected products.
• Ensure timely ordering of software maintenance and renewals.
• Stay informed about industry trends, licensing models, and best practices
• Create awareness for internal teams on SAM policies, procedures, and compliance.
For these missions, you will work in coordination with the network of SAM correspondents in each of the Group’s entities, purchasing, software publishers, legal department. What you’ll need to know/have
Experience:
•
• Proven experience on addressing software compliance, inventory, contract information, vendor contacts, and pricing.
• Proven knowledge of different software licensing models (perpetual, subscriptions, cloud) and licensing rules (per user, CPUs, virtualization...).
• Creating metrics and reporting for management requirements.
• Experience with Asset Management tools.
Hard Skills:
•
• Proficiency in managing complex vendor software contracts.
• Proficiency with licensing terminology and software entitlements.
• Experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural environments
• Fluent English (oral and written) and ideally French
Soft Skills
•
• Self-starter and results driven.
• Initiative, proactivity, and anticipation
• Teamwork and open-mindedness
• Ability to adapt to the context and multicultural environment.
Certifications:
· Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CSAM, IAITAM, CISA, CISSP, or SAM are an advantage.
English fluency is mandatory. French is an advantage
