Job Requirements POSITION SUMMARY The Manager of Nursing Administration Supervisors oversees and drives improvement on efficiency and performance related to accessibility and patient flow. The Manager of Nursing Administration Supervisors will support the planning and directing all operational functions for designated departments, supporting the development and implementation of policies and procedures, and for the selection of personnel, budget preparation, quality improvement activities and compiling metrics. PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Implements best practices for departments through positive attitude and cooperation to support the goals of Health First, while ensuring the safety of each patient and staff on the assigned unit. • Conducts and documents disciplinary conferences for individuals not following hospital policy/procedure or whose actions necessitate corrective action. • Performs timely and periodic performance appraisals based on pre-established standards, and monthly department meetings with patient flow administrators, while facilitating the development of department objectives in accordance with measurable goals in areas of quality, patient experience and stewardship for patient care services. • Facilitates overcapacity meetings with representatives from nursing and ancillary departments, serving as an organizer or active participant on appropriate committees and task forces. • Acts as the Subject matter expert for bed tracking system (Teletracking) and Teletracking database), while supporting the coordination of patient placement, transfers and throughput. • Serves as liaison to community hospital leaders to achieve throughput metrics. • Provides positive representation for administration in all circumstances and settings, overseeing patient satisfaction as evidenced by positive HCAHPS scores on inpatient units. • Participates in the development of policies and procedures affecting patient care, staff utilization and development. • Leverages knowledge of relevant policies and procedures, risk management requirements and expectations, medical staff by-laws, The Joint Commission (TJC), Florida Nurse Practice Act, and other applicable regulations to maintain adherence in areas of oversight. • Manages for patient satisfaction as evidenced by positive HCAHPS scores on inpatient units. • Partners with centralized patient logistics team to place patients in the right bed the first time. • Interacts with nursing and ancillary departments in a positive manner, promotion of cost effective hospital operation, achieving organization benchmarks for throughput. Work Experience MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). • Work Experience: Two (2) years’ experience in acute care nursing. • Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Florida. • Certification: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained. • Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Organizational skills, including time management and problem solving. • Communication skills, verbal and non-verbal. • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products. • Knowledge and experience with use of hospital’s bed management system (TeleTracking). PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Work Experience: Previous nursing leadership experience. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physically agile; may require walking, standing, running, bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, or crouching frequently. • May occasionally include lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. • May require moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces, including reaching out and above shoulders, or overhead. • May lift, turn, pull, push, or ambulate people and/or equipment with or without assistance up to 90% of the assigned shift. • May be exposed to inside and outside environments with varied temperatures, air quality, lighting, and/or low to loud noise. • May require working with biohazards such as blood/body fluids and airborne particles following OSHA and CDC guidelines. • Communicating with others to exchange information. • Visual acuity and hand-eye coordination to perform tasks. • Workspace may vary from open to confined. • May require travel to various facilities within and beyond county perimeter; may require use of personal vehicle.
