About this role
The RTR Specialist – Tax is responsible for supporting Record-to-Report processes with focus on local statutory, legal, regulatory, and tax compliance requirements. The role ensures timely and accurate execution of RTR activities, including regulatory reporting, management reporting support, journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing, tax filing and payment, audit support, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, file, and pay tax obligations in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. • Serve as subject matter expert for RTR processes, particularly local statutory, legal, and tax compliance requirements. • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on tax compliance matters, audits, and information requests. • Act as authorized company representative for government agency transactions, including BIR, SEC, LGUs, and other regulatory bodies. • Support internal, external, statutory, and tax audits by preparing schedules, supporting documents, and audit requirements. • Support monitoring and review of service providers and outsourced RTR activities. • Execute tax-related RTR activities in line with Global Operating Model and local SOPs, including journal entries, account reconciliations, month-end/year-end closing, and P&L adjustments to support accurate tax reporting. • Monitor closing activities and Balance Sheet reconciliations to ensure timely resolution of tax-related issues, accurate reporting, and compliance with regulatory, management, and audit requirements.
