Experienced Financial Advisor Transition Consultant
Opportunity Overview: The EFA Transition Consultant is responsible for delivering a high-touch and often in-person onboarding and transition experience for Experienced Financial Advisors (EFAs) joining Edward Jones Canada.
Acting as the primary transition partner, the EFA Transition Consultant works closely with advisors and their teams from offer acceptance through the first four months of employment to ensure a smooth, compliant, and successful transition.
Serving as a trusted consultant and strategic partner, the EFA Transition Consultant helps experienced advisors successfully transition their practice, clients, and business operations to Edward Jones. This role provides personalized guidance, coaching, and transition support designed to accelerate advisor integration, productivity, and long-term success. This role combines project management, operational expertise, relationship management, and change leadership to support advisor integration, client asset transfers, account onboarding, and adoption of Edward Jones systems, processes, and culture. The specialist partners closely with advisors to establish effective business practices, client engagement strategies, service models, operational workflows, and routines that support a successful transition and growth trajectory within the firm. The EFA Transition Consultant serves as a trusted advisor and central point of coordination among field leadership, home office departments, and operational support teams to help advisors successfully transition and grow their business.
Position Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in financial services, advisor support, branch operations, onboarding, client transitions, project management, or a related field. • Experience supporting advisors, clients, or business transition activities preferred. • Experience working across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups. • Experience consulting with financial advisors, supporting practice management initiatives, or leading advisor business transition activities preferred. • Experience coaching, influencing, or guiding professionals through organizational or operational change preferred.
This opportunity is currently limited to associates based in Canada. Candidates must be authorized to work in Canada and be located within Canada at the time of hire.
