About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the delivery of renewable retrofit projects across the South region. This is a key leadership role supporting the Operations Director and driving performance across multiple contracts.
You’ll take ownership of operational delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while leading and developing high-performing site teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
Lead, manage and develop a team of Site Managers delivering renewable retrofit worksOversee multiple live projects, ensuring progress, programme adherence and KPI performanceAttend sites regularly and engage with clients, stakeholders and internal teamsDrive operational excellence across Solar PV, Air Source Heat Pumps and ventilation measuresMonitor financial performance, budgets and resource allocation across contractsEnsure compliance with PAS 2030/2035, MCS and relevant accreditation standardsMaintain strong health & safety performance with a zero-tolerance approachReport on performance, risks and progress to senior leadershipBuild strong relationships with stakeholders, clients and delivery partners About You
We’re looking for a strong leader with experience in renewables or retrofit environments who can manage complex, multi-site operations.
You’ll have:
Proven experience in operational management within renewables or retrofit projectsStrong knowledge of PAS 2030 / PAS 2035 complianceExperience managing multi-disciplinary teams and subcontractorsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet demanding deadlinesStrong financial and commercial awarenessExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong organisational skillsFull UK driving licence Desirable:
Experience in social housingRelevant qualifications (e.g. Level 6 Project Management, SMSTS, IOSH, or equivalent) What You’ll Get in Return
