About this role
Location: Anchor Bay High School Hours: Monday - Thursday 2:15pm - 3:15pm Internal posting: Open to current Anchor Bay School District teachers and counselors. 2 positions availalbe:
• 1 Genreral Education position and
• 1 Special Education position.
Qualifications:
• Bachlors Degree.
• A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in an academic setting is preferred.
• Proficient reading and writing abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with children and take direction.
• Pleasant, cooperative and flexible.
• A positive attitude to foster the proper atmosphere for a supportive classroom environment.
• Regular and reliable in person attendance is an essential job function.
Essential Functions:
• Monitor students and assist with the credit recovery online platform.
• Operates and cares for equipment used in the classroom for instructional purposes.
