Ready to be a ROUGHWRITER? St. Marys Middle School is seeking a coach for our Power of the Pen team. 7th & 8th grade students learn writing skills to develop their own creative voice through competition and participation in district, regional, and state writing tournaments. Coaches will register in the fall for tournaments, then form Power of the Pen teams to prepare for writing tournaments held in the winter and spring. Interested candidates must submit a Supplemental/Coaching application, available on the district website, to [email protected], no later than 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Two positions are available at $814 each, but one person may take both positions.
Certified teacher preferred, but not required. Must be able to obtain clear FBI and BCI background checks. Must complete Public School Works online training upon hire.
