Kitchen Manager Job Description Reports to: Child Nutrition Director, Principal Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt Length of Contract: 190 Days Hours: 6:30 AM - 2:00 PM (7 HRS/DAY) Salary: $14.37/hr - $18.87/hr Primary Purpose:
• Provides direction to kitchen staff, ensuring execution of all employee duties.
• Monitors kitchen operations to ensure compliance with Arkansas health department regulations and food safety regulations.
• Ensures utilization of daily prep sheets
• Participates in the monthly inventory process.
• Anticipates, identifies, and corrects any issues with inventory, systems, and staffing.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education/ Certification:
• High School Diploma (Required)
• Manager's Certification (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Lift and carry for short distances up to 50 lbs in a kitchen setting
• Reach and lower items in a kitchen setting
• Stoop, kneel, bend
• Must be able to safely, physically operate the kitchen equipment.
