About this role
Position: High school student providing targeted tutoring for two hours, five days per week through December 18th. Position Overview: To perform small group tutoring, supervision duties, and behavior management in support of classroom teachers. Key Responsibilities and Job Functions
• Provide homework help and educational support to 2nd–6th grade students.
• Build strong, positive, and encouraging relationships with children.
• Assist staff in leading structured activities and maintaining a safe learning space.
• Serve as a reliable, positive role model every day.
• Actively monitor and supervise 2nd-6th graders on the playground if needed.
Qualifications & Expectations
• Dependability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential (10 hours/week, 2 hours/day).
• Relationship Builder: Ability to connect with elementary students with patience, empathy, and positive reinforcement.
• Future Focus: Preferred interest in working with children, education, or related fields in the future.
• Academic Skills: Strong grasp of elementary reading, writing, and math fundamentals.
