About this role
Title I Math Teacher Performance Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver appropriate supplemental math curriculum that supports grade appropriate academic skills for children who have been identified as at the greatest risk of failing to meet state achievement standards in mathematics.
• To utilize available student data including tests, grades, work samples, teacher recommendations and classroom performance to identify students in need of supplemental services.
• To monitor and document student progress.
• To collaborate with classroom teachers and student support personnel to enhance student achievement
• Work cooperatively with grade level school based teams
• Participate in all district Title I activities
Qualifications:
• Elementary Certified
• Mathematics Certification Preferred
• Highly Qualified in subject matter
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate students
• Competency with math content and teaching instructional strategies
