VAN MONITOR Weymouth Public Schools is a dynamic and inclusive learning community educating over 5,600 students in 11 school buildings, including Weymouth Early Childhood Center, eight elementary schools (grades K-5), Chapman Middle School (grades 6-8), and Weymouth High School (Grades 9-12). • Assist van driver in assuring seat belts, harnesses and wheel chair clamps are secured as required
• Consult with and assist van driver in documentation of student information and recordkeeping
• Assist the van driver in maintaining discipline on school van; monitor and assist students while bus is in operation
• Assist with safe loading, unloading and seating arrangement of students as required
Requirements:
• 5 Hours per school day - School Year Only (with possible summer work)
• Experience with special needs students preferred
• Perform other duties as requested by the Transportation Supervisor
