About this role
The Macon R-1 School District is seeking a Head Track Coach to lead and develop our High School track program. Candidates must hold, or be able to obtain, at minimum, a valid Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate. We are looking for a dedicated coach who will:
• Develop student-athletes both academically and personally
• Build a positive, competitive team culture
• Organize and lead practices and competitions
• Work collaboratively with other coaches and school staff
• Promote sportsmanship, discipline, and academic success
Qualifications: Must possess effective coaching techniques and skills. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport. Must possess the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.
