About this role
We are seeking skilled Interpreters to facilitate communication between individuals who speak Spanish. The ideal candidate will accurately translate spoken conversations in real time while maintaining professionalism and cultural sensitivity. This is not a full-time position. Interpreters are used by the District for school conferences and registration events. Responsibilities:
• Interpret conversations between parties fluently and accurately.
• Translate spoken or written materials as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
• Adapt to various settings, including meetings, conferences, or client interactions.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior experience in interpretation is preferred.
• Ability to remain neutral and professional.
