Work Year: School Year (180 days) Minimum qualifications:
• A minimum of an Associate's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services or related field from anaccredited college or university.
• Possess significant knowledge of Taunton and surrounding resources that provide support across a broad spectrum of need, cultures and languages.
• Possess knowledge of drop-out prevention strategies.
• Ability to build positive, trusting and effective interpersonal relationships.
• Fluency in second language, preferred.
• Willingness to make home visits.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent or his designee may deem appropriate.
Job Goal: To provide outreach to students and families in need – serving a vital role in District wrap-around services.
