About this role
The Superintendent's Leadership Institute is designed to help aspiring leaders develop the skills and capacity needed for a successful and fulfilling career. We believe in “growing our own” and nurturing leaders from within our district's current, talented staff. Through this year-long program, participants will study leadership, experience best practices, and gain insight into administrative processes and procedures. Sessions are held monthly after school hours. Qualifications To be considered, you must meet the following qualifications:
• All applicants must have at least 3 years of experience.
• A record of strong performance in current role.
Application Instructions If you are interested in being a candidate for the 2026-27 Superintendent's Leadership Institute, complete the following application steps by the end of the day, Friday, October 2, 2026:
• Writing Prompts: Answer all writing prompts with thoroughness to effectively introduce yourself to the selection panel. Incomplete writing samples will not be considered for the program.
• Video Submission: All applicants are asked to submit a 45–60 second introductory video responding to the question: “What are your leadership aspirations, and how will participating in the Superintendent's Leadership Institute prepare you for the next step in your leadership journey?” Please upload your video using the link below:

• Supervisor Recommendation Form: In lieu of recommendation letters, all applicants must also have a direct supervisor complete the SLI Recommendation Form, which can be found at this link [Click Here]. If you are applying for the institute, please share this form with your supervisor in a timely manner so that it is completed by October 2.
