About this role
Mission Middle School is seeking a Head Girls Basketball Coach for the season running from mid-December through the end of February. The coach will lead a development-focused program that builds basketball skills while teaching teamwork and personal responsibility. The successful candidate will build positive relationships with student-athletes and maintain high expectations for academics and behavior. The coach will create an inclusive and competitive environment where athletes feel supported and challenged to grow. The head coach will plan and lead practices, manage games and team operations, communicate with families and school administration, supervise assistant coaches, and model professional conduct. The program will follow the BPS Athletics Handbook and district policies. The coach will also support Mission's commitment to developing students first and responsible teammates who represent their school and community with pride.
