Wonderview School District is seeking a caring, dependable, and student-focused K–6 Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with diverse learning, social, and behavioral needs. The paraprofessional will work closely with the supervising special education teacher and classroom teachers to help students access instruction, participate successfully in school activities, and develop independence and appropriate social skills. Key Responsibilities: *Provide individualized support to students in the classroom and throughout the school day. *Assist with the implementation of students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) under the direction of certified staff. *Reinforce and support instruction that has been provided by the classroom teacher. *Work collaboratively with special education teachers, classroom teachers, and related service providers. *Support students with academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs. *Assist students in participating fully in classroom activities, specials, and school-wide activities. *Help monitor student progress and maintain appropriate student records. *Encourage student independence, responsibility, and positive relationships. *Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information. *Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, patience, and a willingness to actively support students and staff. The ideal candidate will be dependable, compassionate, patient, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
