About this role
This position serves students who are 18-21 years of age who have disabilities in both the classroom and in vocational settings. Job responsibilities will include:
• Supporting teachers by assisting with the academic instruction of individual and small groups of students.
• Driving a van to transport students to and from school/job sites
• Supervising and assisting with lunch, cleanup, laundry and recreational duties.
• Job Coaching students on vocational placements
• Other duties as assigned
A Nebraska Drivers license with good driving record is required. If the chosen candidate does not have their Level I and Level II Van Driver Permit, training will be provided to obtain certification. Hours: 6:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
