Reports to: High School Athletic Director and High School Principal Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• This position requires manual labor involving general cleaning and light housekeeping. Also, includes ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to develop and supervise students selling concessions.
• Ability to count money and keep accurate receipts.
• Ability to communicate and work well with students, teachers, and general public.
• Ability to use independent judgment to solve problems.
• Must pass criminal background check.
Goal: To assure the smooth, and efficient operation of selling concessions at District sporting events and high school lunch time. Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for care and operation of selling concessions at high school.
• Order supplies for all concession sites.
• Required to have food and beverages ready for sale before sporting event begins.
• Coordinate money boxes for sale of products.
• Coordinate with athletic director the use of student help in concession stands.
• Responsible for cleanup of equipment and facilities after each use of concession stand. This includes area used to sell food/beverages for lunch at high school.
• Food must be prepared and stored properly.
• Coordinate with athletic director the securing of all doors after athletic events. This includes locking and unlocking restrooms and gates.
Employment Terms This position shall be considered in all respects “employment at will” and the employee is subject to discharge by the District at any time without cause. The “employment period” and other descriptions and terms set forth in this job description shall not create a property right in the employee and such are set forth only to advise the employee of when and what type of services will be required by the District so long as employment continues.
