COMMENT: Job is temporary for just the 26-27 school year. Job Summary: The South Kitsap School District is hiring two Testing Proctors to administer standardized tests to selected students in kindergarten through twelfth grade throughout the district. The proctor will be responsible for implementing standardized testing procedures, maintain test security, and ensure accurate administration, and collection of testing materials. This position requires adherence to testing protocols, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage groups of students in a quiet and supportive environment. Work hours will be Monday through Friday during school hours. Exact hours will vary from day to day and week to week, based on individual school schedules and the number of students referred for testing. Proctor training is provided. The selected candidate will be authorized a supplemental contract and compensated in the form of hourly payment. If candidate is a current district employee, no release time is available to perform the functions of this contract. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated successful experience working with students of all ages.

• Escort students from their classrooms to the testing room and return them once testing is complete.

• Check in at the Teaching and Learning office prior to traveling to assigned schools; must have reliable and flexible transportation.

• Proctor the assigned standardized test in accordance with established procedures.

• Monitor and record student test completion and absences.

• Maintain consistent communication with the Highly Capable office regarding testing schedules via email and/or text.

• Demonstrate technological proficiency and confidence in following digital testing procedures.
