Keystone Area Education Agency is accepting applications for the opening of Paraeducator – Interventionists within a Specialized Therapeutic Behavior Program. Program & Location Information This is a newly developed program for the 2026–2027 school year, located at the Keystone AEA facility in Elkader, Iowa. Position Overview Paraeducator – Interventionists provide essential educational and behavioral support to students under the direction of a certified teacher. This role focuses on one-to-one intensive behavior support, data collection, and assisting students in developing the skills needed to successfully engage in the learning environment. This position plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive classroom while helping students build independence and successfully reintegrate into less restrictive environments.
